What it is
Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale opened in Pune in 1950, started by brothers Raghunath and Narsinha Chitale, and grew out of a dairy that their father B.G. Chitale began in 1939.
Bhel is Mumbai's beach and street chaat, puffed rice and sev tossed with chutneys and onion in a paper cone. The Bingebar takes that chatpata taste and turns it into a crunchy, travel-friendly bar that Chitale sells as ready to eat. No plate, no spoon, no chutney dripping down your wrist. Choosing between Chitale snacks? Bingebar for on the go; farsan or special chivda for a bowl on the table.
Tip: Open it just before you eat it. Like real bhel, it softens if it has to wait.
Goes well with: Chitale Bandhu Farsan, Chitale Bandhu Special Chivda, Everest Masala Tea
