What it is

Vedaone comes from Atrey Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., an Ahmedabad manufacturer of Ayurvedic, herbal and cosmetic products. This one puts two familiar tastes in one bottle: karela, the bitter gourd Tamil homes call pavakkai, and jamun, the purple naaval pazham.

It is bitter and astringent in equal measure, and it tastes exactly as that sounds. Like the other Vedaone juices, it is measured out and diluted, not drunk by the glass.
