GRB began in 1984 with G.R. Balasubramaniam delivering butter around Bengaluru on a bicycle. Ghee came next, and Town Bus is the family's snack range, made near Madurai.

This is a South Indian mixture with garlic running all the way through: gram flour sev and boondi, fried rice flakes, chana dal, peanuts and curry leaves, with chilli, amchur, fennel and a touch of cardamom.
