Karupatti, palmyra jaggery, in block form, 500g. Boiled down from palmyra palm sap, so it is smokier and darker than cane jaggery and it changes the flavour of whatever it goes into. Break or grate as needed, dissolve in warm water and strain before using in sweets. Store airtight.
