What it is

Manna started in Chennai in 2000 with a sathumaavu health mix. iStrong is one of its newer drink mixes, made with eight grains according to Manna, and this one is caramel flavoured. The same iStrong mix also comes in a chocolate flavour, and both are made for stirring into a mug of milk.

It stirs into milk the way Boost or Horlicks does, with a toffee-like caramel taste: hot on a cold evening, or cold over ice. Choosing between Manna drinks? iStrong Caramel for toffee flavour; iStrong Chocolate for cocoa; Ragi Malt for a traditional ragi drink. Keep the pack tightly closed; powdered drinks clump in damp air.

Tip: Mix the powder to a paste with a spoon of warm milk first, then top up. No floating clumps.
