What it is
Ching's Secret started in Mumbai in 1996, launched by Ajay Gupta's Capital Foods, and made its name with "Desi Chinese" sauces, masalas and noodles. Today it is part of Tata Consumer Products.
Singapore curry is the gentle one in the 60 g range: curry spicing rather than straight chilli, and a fragrant, yellow bowl that suits anyone who finds Schezwan too much. The tastemaker sachet is in the pack. Choosing between Ching's instant noodles? Singapore curry for mild and spiced; Schezwan when you want heat; Manchurian for the classic Indo-Chinese taste.
Tip: Add a handful of frozen peas and sweetcorn with the noodles. They cook in the same two minutes.
Goes well with: Ching's Schezwan Noodles, Ching's Manchurian Noodles, Ching's Veg Hakka Noodles
