What it is

A2B's Madras mixture brings together crisp rice-flour sev, rice flakes, peanuts, cashew nuts, green gram and chickpeas, seasoned with turmeric and curry leaves. It is milder than a Kerala or garlic mixture, so it suits children and guests too.

How to use

1. Serve in a small bowl with evening tea or coffee.
2. Make a quick chaat: toss with chopped onion, tomato, coriander and lemon just before serving.
3. Store in an airtight tin once opened.

Tip: A spoonful on top of curd rice or upma adds crunch.
