What it is

Sakthi Masala is based in Erode, Tamil Nadu, and was started in 1977 by Dr P.C. Duraisamy. The company has received India's National Award for Quality Products three times.

This is the dry chutney that stands in when there is no time to grind coconut chutney. Mix a spoon with gingelly oil to a loose paste and every idli gets dragged through it. It is coarse and hot, and a little goes a long way. Choosing between podis?
