What it is

Native Food Store was started in Chennai in 2016 by P. Vishnukumar, an engineer by training, as a one-stop shop for millets and millet-based products. Thinai is foxtail millet, one of the oldest grains in Tamil cooking.

The dosai come out light gold with a mild, slightly nutty taste, close enough to rice dosai that they suit anyone new to millets. Use them exactly as you would plain dosai, with sambar, chutney or a podi. Choosing between Native Food Store thinai products?
