Cycle Pure Agarbathies was founded in 1948 by N. Ranga Rao in Mysore. It is the flagship brand of the NR Group, and its incense is exported to more than 65 countries. This is the Three in One pack, with a matchbox tucked in.

Cycle's own listing names the three fragrances: Serene, a lily scent; Yugantar, sweet and fruity; and Jagrane, woody and resinous. With all three you can light a different one morning and evening. Choosing between pooja fragrances? Agarbatti for everyday lighting; Gopuram cup sambrani for thick, resinous smoke on Fridays; Natraj camphor for aarti.

Tip: Stand the holder on a steel plate, away from curtains. The ash falls wider than you expect.
